French Linens Online Returns Policy

We will gladly exchange your product for another if you are not completely satisfied with your order. Exchanges must be in original condition, unused and unwashed. Please notify us of any exchanges within 21 days of receiving your order. We will issue online credits for the total amount of the items exchanged, if there is a price difference, minus the shipping.

If you are not satisfied with an item(s) that you have purchased online, you may return the item(s) within 21 days of receipt for a full refund of the purchase price, minus the shipping.

The returned item(s) must be unused and unwashed. Enclose a copy of the packing list or receipt with the item. Be sure to keep a copy of the packing list or receipt for your records. If you cannot send your packing list, please include your name, order number, billing name, address, and email or phone number with the item.

Items returned after 21 days of receipt will be refunded with store credit.

All return shipping charges must be prepaid.
We cannot accept C.O.D. deliveries.

If returning from outside of Canada package must clearly state 'RETURN TO ORIGIN' otherwise any incurred customs duties or brokerage charges will be charged back to the sender.

For your protection, we recommend that you use Insured Parcel Post for your return.
We suggest getting a shipment tracking number and keeping it until your return is settled.

Once your return in received and reviewed, you can expect a refund within seven days. All returns and exchanges are subject to French Linens Online approval.

Customers will be refunded the shipping cost if the return is a result of a manufacturer error or a shipping error on our part.

We are not able to accept exchanges or returns on any custom tablecloths or yardage.

Sales Tax

A 5% tax will be charged to all Canada residents.
Orders shipped outside of Canada will not incur any sales tax.



Out of Stock Items

We do our best to update our website inventory, and normally you won't be able to pay for an item that is out of stock. However, sometimes mistakes are made.
If a product you paid for is out of stock, you will be informed by e-mail within
48 hours of your purchase. Upon receipt of the e-mail you will have three options as follows:
• Receive the out of stock item when it arrives with free shipping.
• Receive your order minus the out of stock item and receive refund for out of stock item.
• Cancel entire order and receive full refund.

Order cancellations must be received before orders ship. Order cancellations are subject to a 10% restocking fee.



Backorders

Items marked "out of stock" can be back ordered by clicking "it can be ordered here" link on corresponding products pages. It opens an email form where you can choose a colour or size to place an order or ask a question. Please feel free to contact us for more information when needed.
Backorders will not be charged to your credit card until they are shipped. You will be notified with an email "request for payment" from PayPal.
Generally, we can have most products to you in three weeks. It can sometimes happen, however, that a particular size/pattern is temporarily out of stock in France, at our supplier shop. It may happen because hot selling products sell out quickly and must be re-woven, re-sewn, and re-shipped which may take four to six months.
A fabric may be woven and sewn and the be discovered to have a dye or a finishing problem.
We ask for your patience and we will make every effort to keep you informed of the status of the backorder, and please know that we will be doing everything we can behind the scenes to make sure your order is fulfilled as quickly as possible.
